Invisalign treatment

Once you have decided to go ahead with Invisalign, we will schedule your initial appointment. During this appointment, we will take a closer look to ensure that the Invisalign treatment is 100% compatible with your needs and desires. What are your expectations, and can Invisalign meet them? We then take dental impressions and arrange a follow-up appointment.

Placement of the Invisalign

The Invisalign placement process is straightforward. All the dentist has to do is slide the custom-made plastic cover over your teeth. We ask you if the braces are comfortable and if they are hurting anywhere.

You will have regular check-ups.

To monitor your progress, you will have regular check-ups with the dentist. Once sufficient progress has been made, you will be given a new set of aligners. On average, our patients visit us once or twice a month.

Retentive phase

Once your teeth are fully aligned, the final step is the retention phase. This involves the dentist fitting a retainer or placing a splint behind your teeth. This prevents your teeth from shifting.
